This command deletes a provided role mapping ID from EraSearch.


This command requires the security database permission.

usage: eractl rbac delete-role-mapping [-h] [--url URL] [--key KEY] role_mapping_id

positional arguments:
  role_mapping_id  ID of the role mapping to remove

optional arguments:
  -h, --help       show this help message and exit
  --url URL   EraSearch URL, set via environment with ERACTL_URL (default: http://localhost:9200)
  --key KEY   EraSearch API key, set via environment with ERACTL_API_KEY (default: None)

To run:

eractl rbac delete-role-mapping $ROLE_MAPPING_ID --url --key ******

Or to pass arguments from the environment:

export ERACTL_URL=""
export ERACTL_API_KEY="******"
eractl rbac delete-role-mapping $ROLE_MAPPING_ID


To list role mappings in the system and then delete a particular role mapping by ID:

eractl rbac list-role-mappings

eractl rbac delete-role-mapping 3
